Pact for the future:
During the conference we launched The European Pact for the Future – a green and social deal for a one-planet economy. The Pact has already received over 500 signatories since its launch on the 13th of May. It provides an agenda of hope in these times of crisis and fear, and an agenda for the next five years of the new legislative cycle. It combines, in effect, a green deal with a social deal and an industrial deal – addressing both people, business and governments at all levels – to provide a holistic way forward, building on science, embracing justice, fairness, and solidarity across regions and EU responsibility also internationally.
